Inspiration - A Poem

Inspiration ignites like fire from coal.
Expiration surrenders ego control.

Perspiration pours ablutions from the soul.
Desperation describes the last hope to be whole.

Aspiration, for one, reaches for a goal;
For another, with a needle, pokes a purposeful hole.

Conspiring together eases life’s toll.
Spires rise from the will of the song singing soul

Transpiring through us, creation’s on a roll.
Spirit is woven through earth like wicker through a bowl.
